I have a Rudd propain furnace and it is not igniting and the code lights on the unit are flashing twice and a 2 second pause. It is telling me it is a pressure switch is open on the main panel. Is this something a dyi person can fix and how do I fix it. Unit is 3 years old.

a blocked intake or exaust and a backed up drain will also cause a pressure switch fault
Yes! I CAN fix that!

Pressure switches are a real ease. Just be sure the power is off, that you match the replacement switch "pressure rating" and tubing connections correctly. http://forum.doityourself.com/archive/index.php/t-147125.html Scott

pressure switches are easy on ruud units there are two switches side by side if u are having a problem i suggest you change both the switches.. they are cheap and will save u alot of headaches... get in touch with your local ruud dealer and check with them because ruud had a recall on those switches.. i work on them on a daily basis u should follow my advice and your problems will be solved...
