I am a young engineer in HVAC field. I am looking for a good reference book I can use for my designs. For example: what the entering/leaving temp should be, how much static pressure should be for VAV box, How much cfm/sf should be for offices, conf. room, etc. I looked at some books on the internet, but there were mixed reviews for all the HVAC books, if anyone has any idea of which book is out there, please advise. I appreciate it

If your looking for standards to use, check out the ASHRAE web site for the following standards.
15,34,62,62-2,129,134,136,154.
These are standards that we use on a constant basis.
You just can not refer to 1 book only to be able to resolve problems or even start to do a design.

No matter how idiot proof you make something better idiots will always try and screw around with it!

Judging from your questions, I would think the ASHREA manuals would have all this data.

The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.
