I have available a re-furbished exhaust blower Model V52M053 for a HEG-80-B Megasave. I had to buy a new one while waiting for a replacement wheel. The new one cost $193.20. No reasonable offer refused. It will probably fit any model. Inlet and outlet are 3.5" o.d.

I have a Clare Megasave furnace. Repair man says i require a restrictor plate. The furnace makes a noise when the heat comes on. To me that sounds like a motor bearing not a restrictor plate problem. He says that he cannot find the part so I would have to replace the whole furnace. Appears to be a sell job. Would that be the cause of the noise and do you know where I would be able to get one of these restrictor plates as Clare has been out of business for some time. Thanks

Contact me if you still have this vent motor. Does it have the special inlet shroud ? Do you still have this furnace in operation ?

Requesting newer type pilot with heat shield for Clare Megasave furnace Model # HEG808. If not available, complete burner would do.

I don't have the restrictor plate. If you'd contacted me last week I could have got it before the house was demolished. As I recall it was a stainless steel plate with a restricting orifice. Let me know if you are still interested. PS. I just looked the plate up in the ROTOM catalogue(page 13). Part #92-V52-1. Probably still available as I don't suppose there was a lot of call for it.
