Hi all,
I have a Carrier VAVVT system (variable air volume - variable temperature). It has a bypass controller, one master stat, and about 10 slave stats. In the ductwork are zone control dampers (make by Parker Electronics). All the stats are also made by Parker. I'm not sure the model numbers - I've been checking on them. All I can find on a slave stat is Parker Electronics, SS01E REV 2.1. All the equipment was made and installed in 1988.
I'm looking for any technical information on this system which will allow me to calibrate the controls, and to rebalance the system, etc.
Any help would be appreciated, as I don't know much about this system, and there isn't a qualified tech close by.

My strongest ability is controls. However when it comes to VVT this is one tough cookie. I have been factory trained twice. And still whenever I show up at a job I have to call tech support. VVT is a system that at the time was a leader, the problem was while they were trying to prefect it they came out with many versions of it. All these versions were incompatible with previous versions and different.
I guess where this is going is not only is it hard for you to get a tech out it’s going to be hard to get a tech out who knows your system as I am sure you have already found out. I know your system is only 15 years old. And it wont be cheap to replace it however it may be time to at least start considering it.

Have to agree with Zenos. If you don't have the manuals and understand the failure codes that may pop up your as good as lost. Try to get the manuals from Carrier where your located. If all else fails I could give you the name of the VVT guru here in NY.

Carrier is a large corporation and is big on customer satisfaction. I would recommend calling them and have them send you the literature. The stat number is good and well get the master stats chip number and the bypass controllers one.
