I have a rooftop carrier model 48HJE 006 531. Heat works for about an hour and then stops. I have to turn the heat OFF and then ON at the thermostat to get the heat going again....EVERY TIME IT STOPS!... I have replaced the thermostat twice, so that is not the problem. I have removed the dirty air filter. When the heat works it goes upto 67 deg F max. I donot see an adustable limit switch. However there is a disc type sensor just
above where the inducer fan is located. Can you shed some light
on this problem please!

It sure sounds like a limit problem, Make sure the belt is in good condition as well this unit has a diagnostic led. Look at the led and count how many times it flashes. A limit switch will be 2 flashes.
