I am not sure this is the correct place to post this but here goes. I am switching a manual Trane thermostat which had no model number on the outside but on the back had Baysens006B which I can not find on any website. The wiring in the thermostat had numbers instead of color codes. The red wire attaches to 1, Orange to 2, Yellow to 3 and White to 1. I purchased a Honeywell programmable to replace it. I connected the same colors to the same in the new thermostat. Nothing happened when I set the temp high enough to trip the furnance. I then tried crossing the Red to the Rc also - still nothing. I am concerned that the wires in the original thermostat are not following the code or maybe I just do not know what I am doing. Do you have any suggestions of what to do now? I noticed if the Yellow and White wire touch the fan turns on.

If you want programmability, contact Trane Parts or Equipment Sales for a BAYSENS019B. Uses the LVTB inputs without having to add a conventional thermostat interface.
God is great!

This is not a thermostat. It’s a Zone Module normally used to control their high end units. This module communicates with a board in the unit digitally. I believe Trane does sell a Module to convert there digital signals over to a standard thermostat However I would expect the cost to be high.
