I never work on hot water boiler before. Need a little help on this. The high pressure relief valve is dripping water. Is there an adjustment to it? Or should I just replace it?
thanks

There are no adjustments on the valve. If the pressure is normal, somewhere below 20lbs., then the valve will need replacing. The valve is set to relieve at 30lbs.
Keep Cool!

Sorry, I did not give specific info. It was a short body TP relief valve with 3/4". Went to a local shop, picked up one and replaced it. It was only $6 each. Thanks.

Its always a good idea to take a look at your system pressure first and make sure its not close to the valve setting. You may know that already, in which case just disregard.
Did you ever notice that 72 degree room temp. is way to warm in the summer and way to cold in the winter?

Hot water boiler should only relieve on pressure. Never temperature!!! You stated you picked up T&P valve which wouls be temperature and pressure which is for other applications.

Relief valves rarely fail for now reason. Usually failure is because tri-lever hasn't been pulled and tested in a long time. Expansion tank is waterlogged. Extrol tank bladder has ruptured. Automatic feed is creeping past it designed set point. If no auto feed is used maybe fill shut off is creeping.
