Hello. Not sure if this is appropriate for this forum, but here goes.

I have a commercial brewing operation I'm installing, and the water service to the property does not meet my occasional/peak demand. Pressure is good, 40-60 psi, but the flow is at 5gpm, where I need about 10gpm... again, this is for about an hour long period of usage, a couple of times a week.

I'm looking at installing a surge tank with a pressure booster pump, and was wondering if this is the right way to go. Can I just do the pump? Will it draw water from the city line at a higher rate than what naturally flows from it?

Thanks,
S

You cant get anymore than what you are getting, however you can store it during off peak times and feed off the storage during the peaks.

Xenos.

I thought as much.

Thanks,

The best way to solve a problem is to think about it with a quality craft beer in your hand.
