I see a lot of people with the same problem I have with changing the batteries on a Chronotherm III and the temperature stuck on 32 degrees. What is the solution?

I believe the 32 indicates that the T-stat and T-stat's base are not communicating either through bad connection or bad T-stat.

On certain versions it means the thermostat is not being powered. Switch the fan on if it does not start check the furnace fuses.
