I have a Lenox furnace with the G776RGD-10 Intermittent control module and the pilot will not ignite without manual lighting. I do hear the module clicking like it wants to light but it doesn't. I have also replaced the sparker but it still will not light. Do you think it is the control module itself? If so I have the G776RGD-10 module and all I can find is the G776RGD-14C which they say will work. Will this work and will it most likely solve my problem? Thanks, Joe
Thanks Joe

I'm not sure what will replace it but I do know they get weak and the spark just isn't strong enough to fire up.
Xenos.
The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.

Thank you. It looks like the replacement module fixed the problem. The ignitor throws a uch stronger spark. So far so good.
Thanks Joe

It sounds like your saying it probably is the control module getting weaker thus not giving off a good spark. Is that right? So getting a new one should fix the problem.
Thanks Joe
