I had a problem today. Unit wasn't cooling as it should. It's a 15 ton York, 3 compressors, (2 tandom, 1 single). The tandom pair was showing suction pressure @about 96 psi, 55-60 degrees. Discharge pressure was 225 degrees, about 108 degrees. Ambient temp was 108 degrees. Probable cause? I need help on this one. GilbertC

You have no Super heat and no sub cool. May have more then one problem. Did make sure the filter and coils where clean. Since this must be a TXV system I personally would add freon until i had atleast 6degree of sub cool. Then recheck it.

It sounds like one of the tandem compressors isn't running at full capacity. It may have bad valves or not running at all. The discharge pressure seems low for that suction pressure if the compressors were running 100%.
Keep Cool!
