Hello!
I just purchased the above T-stat and am having trouble getting it all hooked up. I am coming from a Coleman Evcon T-stat.
On the Evcon I had this setup.
O = Orange W2 = White
B = no wire X = Black
R = Red L = Blue
G = Green E = no wire
Y = Yellow
On the Lux I have
B = no wire O = Orange
C = Black R = Red
E = no wire W2 = White
G = Green Y = Yellow
Blue is taped off
AC works just dandy but heat does not. The compressor does not kick on and the led flashes Aux Heat. Just messing around I took the White wire and plugged it into B. When I swtich to heat the compressor kicks on and I get heat and the Aux light goes off.
I am pretty sure this is not the preferred method for wiring.
Anyone have any idea of how exactly it is supposed to be wired? I hate to call someone out to put in a jumper or something.

It sounds like a configuration issue as the Y terminal should power the compressor in both heating and cooling.
