I have 3 of my 4 Honeysick 7100 (3 years old) T-stats failing. I am looking for anything but Honeywell. I need remote sensor, heat pump, non programmable (biz is open 24x7) multistage connected to a pre-conditioner Aaon (boat anchor) unit.

Any ideas for a GOOD replacements?

Thanks

Nope...
Don't know why your honeywells are failing because they are pretty darn good stats, even the home depot specials.

The Honeywell electronic thermostats at least in my area of Minnesota have been known to have issues. The biggest problem I have had with them are the internal relays. They mechanically click in but electrically don't make. I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to. White rodgers makes a great electronic thermostats with remote sensor capability (up to three sensors) You may also be drawing too much current through the contacts. you may want to instal isolation relays on the outputs.
