How to take out the Txv with external equaliser? first step is after taking out the feeler bulb or after removing the equaliser?

I'm an old geezer, is a feeler bublb something new they are using? And if you have to ask how to change the TEV should you be doing it? just a thought

Am I sorry, if you have to ask how to replace a TXV, you really must gain more experience in the field before attemping a project of this magnitude....

Remove the refrigerant then unswet the valve and replace it. When reinstalling it make sure to keep it cool.
