I need soem help hooking up a thermostat. Heres some info
Desert air unit - DCA3000
White Rogers Multistage/Heatpump thermo 1F83-277
Connections a follows:
DCA3000 Exterior Controls
1 Power
4=G Blower ON
6=W2 Second stage heat (low voltage 2nd stage heat conn)
7=W1 first stage heat
8=Y1 Cooling
9=B Humidity Relay
Thermostat connections
R - 24v Hot
C - 24v Common (optional)
e/W1 - Heat relay (Stg. 1)
W2 - Heat Relay (Stg. 2)
G - Blower fan
Y1 - Cool relay (Stg. 1)
Y2 - Cool Relay (Stg. 2)
O - Energized in Heat
B - Energized in Heat
L - System monitor
Plus there are other diagrams for the thermostate.
The way I hook it up with the letter on the DCA. This runs the heat and cool. But when Stage 2 heat comes on, the DCA will make a buzzing sound. Plus when the unit is off, it still stays running. in heat mode. It should shut off until there is a call for humidity by the humisistat.
Anyone want to help tackle this project with me? I have a company comming in to add fresh air so I will need the 2nd stage heat working.
Next.. What setting should I set this thermo on?
