In a general way some motors have a built-into-the-windings thermal overload device with auto-reset on the better motors.
Could that be true in your unit? Check amperage as mentioned;
Hi amps---hi heat on windings---thermal overload trips---cool
down---reset---start-up.

To err is human to repair divine

i was leaning towards air flow problem as i have taken the motor out and ran it and it seems fine....but i can't seeany restriction in air flow....filters are clean...possible evap clogged maybe??????

Stupid question but is your ampprob in calibration? If the motor is running below RLA I can only think of air flow assuming the contacts are not pitted on the fan relay causing a voltage drop when they heat up.

P.S is this 575 or is it using a power transformer down to 460?

Xenos.

The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.
