Does anyone know how much is approximate 3 to 3.5 ton 13 seer Carrier Rooftop air conditioner to be installed and duct work ran? I am looking Model 48HJ.
I Hear that now a day some model 48PG use Puron (R-410A). What is the different cost between that?
I know the cost will be vary, but I just need the approximate range, so I will pay reasonable price that the contractor can bit the job (not too over price and not to cheap).

Get yourself at least 3 bids.... then you will have an understanding what the price will be...

Thank you! I just quote from few different air conditioning technician. Its cost vary from $5K to $7K.

Where are you located, is this a gas/ elec, or heat pump? Here in socal I would price it with ductwork around 7000. But hard to say with out looking at. Just make sure they do a good job. I get beat out on prices all the time, but the customer gets what they pay for. remember that!!!!
