Found 2- 30 ton trane cond (running for 6 years)units that had many problems
1 shipping brackets left on
2 no pump down solenoids installed
3 1 t-stat that energized terminals 1+3
4 1 t-stat in the cond unit that had a discharge air temp sensor mounted infront of evap coil, but was suposed to be a return air sensor.
5 2nd stage compressors when wires are put back on control box high side pressure goes to 400+ off on internal
6 forgot to mention all safety controls jumped out.
I put solenoid in but I question return & discharge air temperatur sensors do they have to be installed ?
The 2nd t stat in the cond unit (dc Voltage) should be located in the space but does the trane cond unit have to have that stat?
