With my permission, the local powewr company has installed a remotely activated device to shut down my AC compressor for 15 minutes to aid in load shedding.
My Lennox HS14 has a buit-in in 1 minute delay on compressor restarts. My Honeywell RTH7500 thermostat has a built-in delay of 6 minutes on a compressor restart. Adding these delays to the power company's 15 minute load shedding means that my compressor will be off for 22 minutes when the power company calls for a 15 minute shut down.
Does anyone have any ideas about setting the RTH7500 6 minute delay to zero...? (There must be a way to set the PLC delay funtion to "off," or "0."

Your asumption of time delay total is not correct.
The thermostat doesn't see the shutdown of your condensing unit. In other words if your thermostat is calling and the system is running and then the power company cuts off your condensing unit, The thermostat doesn't disable a call for cooling. By the time the power company re-enables the control to the condensing unit you would have a total of 16 minutes off.
The devices that they instal are out at the condensing unit and interupt the control signal to the contactor in the condensing unit only. So if they had a 15 minute off cycle your unit would add 1 minute.
