Our two Bev Air draft coolers (DD78) keep icing up on the evaporator. I can't find any info about a dfefrost timer. This mostly happens in the summer, but it does happen year round.

Any suggestions?

If it's just a coller that holds 38 degree's, check your door gaskets also if your in and out of it you need to hook a timer to the 110 volt outlet, set it to turn off at midnight every day for an hour, this will allow your evap to defrost every night an you'll never have the product warm up to a unsafe condition.

If your problem is that the unit is not defrosting enough, the problem would be the worst in the summer due to the higher humidity building ice on the coil. I would suggest calling the manufacturer's tech support. If the number is not listed on the id tag, the city and state is, then just call information.
