I am looking for thoughts, recommendations pro/con on the newer ductless A/C systems. To be installed in a single wide mobile home used for vacations only, located in the Lake Mead/Las Vegas area (hot!) Thanks much!

Just installed a Mitsubishi "Slim" C/U with a wall-hung inside Fan-coil unit in a 600 SF office. It has been running flawlessly for 90 days and the occupants love it. 16.1 MBH. Mount the C/U, hang the F/C unit, connect with a pre-charged line set, connect a Condensate drain line and power and its in. Material only about$2,000. Also available is one C/U that serves several inside fan coil units. A remote turns it on/off, acts as a timer, and controls moving louvers on the inside unit. No, I have no connections prompting me to promote this; just an appreciation for quality.

Installed a couple Mitsubishi also. Cool and quiet. Love the moving louvers and the remote control.

Pls. re-confirm electrical(control) cabling of indoor to outdoor units (S1/S2/S3), can't normal #18AWG thermostat cable be used. Any important set-up or configuration for a wired controller on start-up. From manual, looks not as simple.

thanks
