I recently purchased a double door pop cooler (like the ones in convenience stores).I would like to lower the temperature abou 10 dergrees inside the unit.Is there a simple adjustment I can make myself?

if the cooler is anything like a standard reach in cooler, the evap coil will have a "constant temperature control" which will have a capilary tube sensor inserted into the cooling coil which will be sensing the coil temperature.
Ways to make the cooler temp colder would be to relocate the sensor closer to the inlet side of the coil, or better yet, install a low pressure control to operate the compressor. this will also allow the coil to air defrost.
No matter how idiot proof you make something better idiots will always try and screw around with it!

Find the thermostat and turn it down a little.
