Hey ya'll,
Looking for a little help. This Carrier rooftop heatpump trips the low voltage transformer after 0-10 seconds run time. Have removed all components and add one by one. Longest run it is 10 secs. Everything I have thought of has checked out and I don't see why. Love any advice or help you can give. Thanks.

Does it trip only with a call for operation or 10 seconds after power is applied? If it trips anytime power is applied, I'd say look in the safety circuits, only with a call. I'd try the other mode and see if it still trips. If it will run in heat but not cool, I'd say look at the reversing circuit.
Did you take the thermostat out of the picture (remove all stat wires) and jump the inputs at the RTU?
Does the unit have an economizer? Look around it very closely, could be loose wire of even a shorted supply air sensor from the actuator.
