Been away from refrigeration service for quite some time and school even longer than that .............. to test for superheat I know you take your suction # and covert to a temp, take the temp @ the txv bulb, subtract the 2 and WALA, your superheat of the evap, low= to aprox - 4-6, medium = 8-10 and high temp= 12-15 degree's. Subcooling ? how to measure and what are the approx values ?
THANKS

Subcooling is found by taking liquid pressure conerting to temp. and subtracting the physcal liqiud line temp. 8-10 degrees is good if you have over 18 remove some juice under 5 clean the coils or add juice.
hope this helps
