Maybe someone can help. I have a horizontal forced air Heil gas furnace. Model #GH 80LE-9R Ser# H63453430 I would like to convert it to LP for a garage installation. Do I need a specific kit or is there a generic kit that would work for this. This furnace I would guess is about 20 years old maybe more and has a standing pilot. It seems perfect for a garage. Any help is appreciated.

From a safety standpoint, be aware that the amount of heat energy (Calorific Value) of LP is much higher than natural gas, so the most important item in the recommended kit is an orifice with a smaller opening to reduce the flow of LP. If you don't change the orifice, you are risking fire and injury. GET THE KIT, THE CORRECT KIT!!!
