I just moved into a 10 story condo with Whalen units. My 800 sq ft unit has three -- one in the kitchen/dining room, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom.
I'm interested in making these guys as efficient as possible. I can't do anything about the chillers or boilers -- I'm merely interested in reducing the amount of electricity the fans use.
1. Is there a market for the fans in Whalen units; can I "shop" for a more efficient fan?
2. Are there other techniques to keep the cost of running the fans low??
