Looking for a electric strip heat package /small heater repair kit for 2 Bryant units (Make: 542EP042/542EP048). The heat coils (Carrier# 303283-202 with 2 - FRN R 60 fuses and fuse holders) are burned out and since the units are old we can't find any replacements. Any advice or suggestions so that we can repair these without purchasing entirely new units? Thanks.

Have you checked for a rewire kit? Your supply house should have one.

Thanks for the reply - it's difficult for them to locate anything for these old units and carrier/bryant doesn't make any parts for them any longer. I am researching this to see if I can avoid purchasing new units.
