Does anyone have any experience with ClimateMaster water source heat pumps. We live in a Apartment style condo, and they are being used to provide heating /cooling to the spaces. We have been told that when they break, we have to use the same models, from the same supplier and nothing else (there is a 3 month wait for a new unit) we are using the genesis standard GR series 0.5 to 5 ton horizontal units. if one breaks, can we use another mode, supplier that will work?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.
Have you actually used these in place of the ClimateMasters?
I'm going to print out the literature eventually, and compare the specs to see the compatibilies.

The other way around. We removed a Waterfurnace and installed a Climatemaster. The homeowner's maintenance man prefers Waterfurnace. We use Climatemaster. They have 6 units and it's hard to tell the difference.

we've also been told that when a heat pump goes, the entire unit that it's enclosed in (ductwork) must be taken down and worked on when it's on the floor. i would think that the heat pumps can be simply replaced within the confines of the ductwork while its still mounted to the ceiling?
