AHU - air handling unit - basicly the air side of air conditioning or heating MAU - make-up air unit - basicly an AHU that uses outside air instead of return air. Usually to replace air that is being exhausted, ie kitchens, bathrooms, labs etc....It's designed to keep slight positive pressure in the building.
Did I answer your question?
