I have installed a new RTH7500 on a ruud heat pump system, I labled that wires and connected everything, the A/C will work but the heat will not work. The fan will automaticly start and stop.
Original stickers and wireing:
R - Red
B - Blue
G - Green
Y - Yellow
W2 - White
X - Brown
Currently inside the thermostat after copying another setup i thought was the same.
Red wire to (RC jumped to R)
Orange wire to o/b
Yellow wire to y
Green to g
blue to c
black wire to E
white wire labled (W2) to Aux
Inside the heat pump there are only five connectors
R - Red
B - Blue
Y - Yello
D - White
C - Brown
G - Not Connected
O - Not connected
Any help would be greatful. Also the heat pump is a Ruud RQNJ

New terminal = wire
C = brown
G = green
Y = yellow
O/B = blue
Rc & R = red
Aux = white
E = jumper to Aux (unless you verify that black is in use at your fancoil, you didn't list it in your original wiring)
Option 170 = 7
option 190 = 1
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
