My dad works on boilers. I'm not sure I know what a boiler is or what it does. I'm writing a report and my dad won't give me a straight answer. He says I won't understand. Soooo, what I wanted was a story telling how my dad fixed a problem with the boiler. Since dad seems to have brain fade everytime I ask him, I was wondering if someone here would mind sharing a story.
If you would tell me what the symptoms were, what you did to find the problem, what tools you used to find the problem and what you did to fix it... I would love it.
You can get as tecnical as you like. I intend to copy and paste your story in my report.. if that's ok with you.
Thank you!

ok a boiler is a term for a hot water furnace. If u have one that misfires it can plug up. (oil fired)One time a co-worker and i went on one that was really sooted up. I lit it off the basement filled with smoke. It took a while to get it adjusted seems as though a good tune up yearly is important. royboy

Wow! That is a real gem burnerman. Words to live by. Was that all one sentence? I nearly suffocated by the time I finished reading it. Try using a period at the end of each sentence.
"My dad was the most feared furnace fighter in Northern Indiana."
