How would you change the coil in the furnace plenum without removeing the freon? Is there a way to do it?

yes and no you can use the outdoor compressor to hold it til u change it out put your gauges on shut the high side turn on unit or hold contactor til pressure drops below 15 shut low side you will have to start shuting low side while you r doing this it takes a few turns then be sure and put a filter drier on and before lettig the freon go pump down lineset below 500 microns
