Maybe some of the bright minds on here can help.

This is what I got. Replaced a failed 3/4 hp scroll compressor. After weighing in system charge and testing, my discharge pressure is 200 and suction is 0. Before you tell me the restriction is in the metering device (piston), consider this unit has neopreme rubber hoses from the the high to low side. I have blown through the hoses and both coils and compressor with nitrogen and it seems to flow just fine.
Here is my thought. The rubber hoses are collapsing when the compressor is pulling a suction. Although when a vac pump is pulling on the hoses, it does suck but it wont hold your thumb to the hoses like you would expect. I completely removed the suction service valve. Any Ideas or has anyone ever ran into such a thing. Saturadays task is to install service taps at the evap coil to test the pressure drop if any across ther hoses.

I'll be glad when this is behind me. The system is on a race hauler that has rheem equipment if that's any help.

You've been Rheemed! Just kidding. Is it possible that restriction could be in one or several capillary tubes(after the metering device)? That would be a nightmare. Did you open the system at the metering device? I have found things that are stuck in place and cannot be blown out. BTW, I dont recommend opening system while in vaccum.
They say a filter drier can become restricted although I can't imagine how and have never seen it. I'm sure you put a new one in anyway since you replaced the compressor.
Have you looked for a kinked pipe?(liquid or suction)?
