I'm replacing a Janitrol HPT18-60 thermostat and all I need to know is does the Orange Wire goes on the reverse heating or reverse coolingon the new Heat Pump thermostat?

Taht depends on wether the reversing valve energizes in heating or cooling. Terminate the wire at "O" and set it to Cool. If it blows hot air in cooling mode, move the wire to "B" the other terminal and try again. You won't hurt anything.

Janitrol will energize the reversing valve to cool.
