We have a Trane XE-78 furnace, with a Trane XE 1000 air conditioning unit outside. Yesterday out of no where the heater stopped working. When you set the thermostat which we usually keep on auto, and set the temp at around 69, the unit will automatically come on, it still comes on, however now the fan doesn't blow when you set the temperature at a higher degree than the current temperature which it use to, the fan/blowers will come on only if you turn the fan from auto to on, and then all it does is blow cool air only, we tried cleaning the furnace filter, and still nothing. With our limited knowledge of this situation, can you tell us what the problem might be? I use to be able to hear the furnace lighting itself, but I've noticed that its not happening.
Please help!

Turn off the main power and turn it back on. To reset the module as well could you please supply the full model number?
