No if the motor is Humming it’s the motor. Or the capacitor. Give the fan a spin while powered and see if it starts. If it does it may be a capacitor if it’s locked it’s a bearing. Or winding.

I've got the same issue. Here is my rundown.
I have an electric HVAC unit. Mid day yesterday, the inside fan/blower started making a noise along with a vibration. Sometime last night it died. AND ITS FRIGGIN COLD. When I turn on the unit, it sounds like it turns over a couple times but stops and makes an electical humming noise. Like its hung up, but still trying to turn.
Any ideas on what that sounds like? And how hard is it to get to that fan? And replace it?
Is the capacitor a part of the motor/fan? Is it easy to shock the crap out of yourself on it?

I would suggest you need a new motor and possible a new fan wheel. I would recommend you bring it to a local electrical motor shop.

I also have a G12 problem. I up the thermostat calling for heat, it tries to ignite, lots of flame but the fan never kicks in 15 seconds later it starts a buzzing noise and the ignition shuts down. If I turn the fan from auto to on, it starts up no problem, runs smooth, so there must be something in the startup sequence that won't allow the burners to light and then let the fan start. Any ideas.

I would be checking the heating fan relay it may be defective.
