Hi all....
I have just replaced my 2 old Honeywell Thermostats with 2 round digital CT8775C thermostats. I have connected all 4 wires (R, G, Y and W) with no problems but for one system (I have 2 carrier systems), the blower keeps cycling on and off even when the Thermostat is in the off position. I have tried reconnecting the old thermostat but I have the same problem (that I did not have before). The only difference I can see is there is a jumper between the R and Rc poles. How do I resolve this issue? The blower will work for 10 minutes, stop for 10 second then comes back on again,,,quite annoying really. Many thanks for the hlep and suggestions!

I live in western Ohio near Dayton and Cincinnati. I have been trying to locate a store or internet dealer that has the new Honeywell round digital thermostat for heat/air, model CT8775C. No one seems to have this item, although honeywell website says that home depot has it but they have the heat only model. Can you help me by telling me where I might be able buy this item.
Thanks

I live in Boston, Mass and bought mine from Home Depot. They had all models in store (heat only and well as cool/heat) even though the digital round CT8775C isn't shown on Home Depot's website. You should be able to ask your Home Depot store to order one for you... good luck!

I would check to see if there is a circuit board in the blower. There is probably a relay sticking or you might have some loose wiring in there.
Keep Cool!

I disconnected the green wire (G) from the wall thermostat and the blower did NOT stop... what does this mean?
Thanks!

That it's not the thermostat causing the fan to run.
Xenos.
