I am replaceing a manual white-rogers heat pump thermostat 1F58-77 with a honeywell digital thermostat CT3611R. It requires a "common wire" which I cannot tell if the old one has a common wire or not. The instructions on the honeywell have me hook the wires up to the same terminals as the white-rogers. I have the following wire scheme on the white rogers..B-Blue, W2-white, R-Red, G-Green, Y-Yellow. I have read your previous post on a a similar problem about with the common wire. I take that possibly the B could be my common wire. Should I hook that to my C/Common terminal on the new thermostat?

If the 1f5877 has no common, then I cant use the new Honeywell? The fan does run, but the airconditioning unit does not and have no display on the honeywell.

Actually the 1F58-77 does not have a common.

Since you did not list an O I would expect the B to be your changover valve.
