had a totline thermostat putting in a hunter model 44260. It was wired: w-white o-orange g-green r-red c-black y-yellow. On the hunter it has rh, rc, g, y/o, w/b, y1. I have a chart but it doesnt seen to be acurate.
Any help would be appreciated. Dan

Dan, I don’t think these are compatible. The totaline appears to be a multi stage heat pump and the Hunter is a single stage thermostat. Is this system a heat pump?

As my username states I am mechanically challenged what do you mean by heat pump, and how can you tell? The hunter one is a set and save programmable thermostat if that helps. If this is not compatable what do I need to get to replace the totaline one?
Thanks for the quick response. Dan

What is your central heating and cooling system? Every thermostat is different. It appears as though your system is a heat pump or is a gas/ oil furnace?
