My ac unit keeps freezing in and outside. I have cked the freon the filter and its ok. It is not cycleing either. I can manually turn the ac on cool and it works for about 20 minutes and freezes in and out. I then turn it on fan to thaw it . It seems to work when I manually turn it on and off, but wont do it itself (on and off cycleing). The compressor went out and it has been replace to. When the ac is on the airflow through the vent is really slow to none, when I take the door off the unit inside the flow increases. Its really hot in this mobile home and we are dyeing here. I also cleaned the unit out side so its not got grass or anything on it. The coils were/are dirty. My husband took the filter out and didnt replace it for a while, when I found it with no filter I cleaned the coils the best I could and put filter bk in. HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your air flow increases when you remove the door panel then your return air grill must be blocked. Low air flow will freeze the coil.

you are either having an air flow problem or your low on freon.
