I HAVE A RUDD GAS/AC UNIT ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO FAN ON AND OFF AT WILL BUT FELT COOLING REPLACED THERMOSTAT THEN WORKED FOR 1 WEEK NOW UNIT IS STILL RUNNING(OUTSIDE) BUT NOT COOLING OR BLOWING(INSIDE) AND SAW FROST INSIDE UNIT. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME

Your original problem may not have been the stat but a bad fan relay/ fan control board. To check if your motor is working, jumper the R and the G wires together. The indoor fan should run. The reason the evaporator coil is icing up is due to no airflow.

TRIED JUMPING R AND G STILL NO INDOOR FAN WHAT DID I DO? THANKS ABOUT INFO ON EVAP. COIL

It is likely then you blew your transformer and/or a fuse in the airhandler/furnace. IF you are unsure at what your are looking for or at or do not understand wiring diagrams (usually one printed on the inside of the furnace/airhandler blower door, then I would highly recommend paying for a service tech to come out and repair it before you burn up more components and/or injure yourself.
