We have a 3 year old TRANE XE 1000. All of a sudden, the fuse of the control system started to blow. When turning on the cooling/heating, if we hear the clicking noises from the relay in the outdoor unit, the thermostat would show losing power in the second and for sure, the fuse is blown. The tricky part is that this doesn't always occur. Sometimes, the AC works fine the whole day. What could be the problem?

the fuse in the unit or the breaker at the breaker box?
