We recently had the fan motor and capacitor replaced on our Lennox Air Conditioner and added a hard start kit. Yesterday, we noticed that the compressor seems to try and restart itself while it is already running. Does anyone know why this is happening.

How old is this unit. Maybe old and dieing. Could be lose connection. Might also be over charged.

The unit is only three years old.
I will try turning it off at the box and wait for the capacitor to loose it's charge and then check the connections.

It doesn't look like any loose wires. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
