I replaced R12 with 409A in refrigerations, so what about AC unit? Could that be possible?

If your asking if R409A could replace R22 in an a/c system the answer is no. They have different pressure temperature relationships and would not work.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware that both refrigerants are different in P/T. My unit is running on R12 CFC.

407C will work for replacing 22 but you have to change the oil.

LOL thats a Xenos or super dave question if ive ever heard one! My humble opionion is change out the meter device with the exclusion of the oil problem it should work. But this is outside my expertise.
