Hi I want to install in 50 yr old home single story ranch , with half finish basmenet 1500 sqft+500 sq.ft basmnt .
new HVAC system with new sheetmetal ductwork.
The old system is radiant water in cielings and slab floors.Is verry cold in winter ,probably piping cloged up already , i lost 4 yrs ago in basement was leaking in to ground, i had to install baseboard radiators.And this summer the heat is unberable at times in Chicago, so now im giving up on it .
We need central air , [we used 3 window A/C unit they failing also].
So i really need a good unit like Trane ,RHEEM ,Carrier, Lennox Ducane, HEIL Bryant or others? to recomend me please?
I want the variable speed type 90+ % furnace, and at least 14 SEER A/C condensing unit ,please advise?
Duct work will be run on basement -family room cieling and cut holes to upstair rooms, half of it trough unsued basement 50 " high cieling there...
And need good air filter system, and humidifier unit,thermostat .
So what you guys out there think experts? i am electrical contractor, il do the electricla work .

TRY AMERICAN STANDARD OR TRANE BOTH ARE GREAT UNITS,MIGHT COST A LITTLE MORE BUT WELL WORTH IT.
