Hello, I'm a ceramist who creates a lot of dust in my studio and I'd like to build a downdraft table to help control dust while sanding. I've been reading up on filters, blowers, and so forth, but was hoping to get some professional advice on making some selections. Clay dust can be very fine, so I need to use a hepa or at least MERV 16 filter, and I'd like the tabletop to be around 2x3 feet. I realize more effective filters cause higher static pressure, but I don't know if I should go for a standard blower or a high-pressure model. I also don't know what style and size filters would be most efficient. There are many other specifications that need discussion, but any advice whatsoever to get me started would be greatly appreciated.
