I have a hunter heat pump thermostat model 44760 and it has been working fine for the past few weeks. This morning there was a message on the display saying No Ac Pwr and the heater would not turn on.

check the fuse on the side of the furnace. Check the breaker in the breaker box.

The circuit breaker is fine, where do I find the fuse?

should be on the side of the furnace. there should be a metal box where the ac power comes into the furnace. this box should have a switch for shuting off the furnace, and a fuse.

Also check the low voltage fuse. It is a car type fuse that is on the board or on the low voltage side of the transformer.

I replaced the fuses and it worked for a couple of weeks and now the fuse is blown again. Only one fuse is blowing and the fuse looks kind of burned and sand like material falls out of it
