Trying to replace old carrier/honeywell system. T874R1384 HH07AQ170 with a base Q674L159 HH93AZ198
wiring color is
O-orange
E-blue
L-brown
C-black
Y-yellow
R-red
W2-white
G-green
trying to replace with a Hunter Set & Save model #44110 with a base serial # of 372995.
old system is 8 wire system. new system only 5 (G, RC, RH, Y, W) with a possible jump between RC & RH (can be removed). What wires go where since there are 3 extra wires. First time replacing unit.
any advice would be appreciated.

You need a heat pump stat. It will have an O terminal.

I dont think you have the right stat. Did it say heating and cooling on package?
