H E L P !! It's cold in here! I have a Rheem Imperial Oil Furnace and since I ran out of oil, it needs re-lighting. Can anyone tell me where the Pilot is or does anyone know where I can get an online manual or diagram? Thanks !!!
Jaime

Find the fuel pump. with a 3/8 wrench, loosen the valve which should be located on the underside. DO NOT try to remove.
Press the Reset button once. When the unit starts, air will will out followed by fuel. Once fuel starts coming out, tighten up the valve.
If all the air does not bleed out by the time the burner shuts off...wait 30 seconds and try again.

i agree with czar i am a oil burner tech just recently transplanted to texas but if you ran out of oil the pump will suck undo amounts of sludge into your filter. it needs to be changed and oil line flushed and bled.you will also need to change oil pump screen and nozzle.pulling the burner apart is for sure a job for a qualified tech but since he already needs to do nozzle filter and strainer you might as well have him do an annual tune up(brush and vac with combustion test)
