I am wanting to install a Honeywell RTH3100C non-programmable digital thermostat. Their connections are E, Aux ,Y, G, O, L, R, B and C. Can anyone tell me how to hookup the wires? I have a heat pump with auxillary heat single stage.

New Terminal = wire E & Aux = white (use jumper) Y = yellow G = green O = orange R = red C = blue
Function = setting 6 = 5 8 = 9 14 = 0(°F) or 1(°C)
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.

what wire do you hook up to the O if there is no orange wire? I have Yellow (Y), Green (G), Tan (?), White (?), Red (R), & Blue (B)!
